Comedy: Matt Banwart

Currently, Matt is the host live show Roast Battle in Chicago, Matt can be found regularly working at nearly every comedy club in Chicago and comedy clubs and festivals across the country.

He just recorded his debut album for Sirus XM, and is already working on his next. Matt’s stand up has been featured on Madison Comedy Week, Floodwater Comedy Festival, and the Redeye Comedy Festival. Apart from stand up comedy, he is a 3x Des Moines Improv Comedy Death Match Champion.

Matt has opened for Chris Kattan, Jeremiah Watkins, Matthew Broussard, and Heywood Banks. Many moons ago Matt was President of his college’s Stand Up Comedy Club, which he registered as a sorority, marking Matt as the state of Iowa’s first-ever male sorority president. This is his most outstanding achievement, apart from winning his 6th-grade pinewood derby.
